2022 Term 1 Highlights!

Hello, welcome back to my blog/welcome to my blog! In this post I will be sharing my highlights for this term. Term 1 has been a crazy and awesome term. People have been in isolation, we’ve met new people/friends, meet our new class for the year, had fun days, etc. This was a interesting start to 2022 but I’ve enjoyed it. Tomorrow is our last day of term 1.

Highlights: My first highlight was our fun days. We had lots fun days which I enjoyed and I’m grateful for. I had so much fun! We had a trip to Willow Park, Tonga Fundraiser, Little Hearts Day fundraiser, School Fun Day, and I think thats probably how much we had. I also went on a Youth Church Camp to Camp Tuhikaramea (very fun!). My other highlight was being called for Hine Moana house captain for 2022. I was so happy and proud of myself. I had so many other highlights but these are my top highlights.

Thank you to all the people including staff, teachers, family/friends, parents, siblings, aunties, uncles, etc for helping out and making this term a success.

I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

DLO – Visual Mihi 2022

Hello, welcome back to my blog/welcome to my blog! This is my DLO for term 1. It is about my Visual Mihi 2022. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

I drew my 4 values that I value in my life: Value 1 – Famili. My family is very important and special to me in my life. It is one of the many blessings I’ve received. I love and care for them. I love spending time with them – either playing at the beach or in my backyard.

Value 2 – Church. The church I attend to is The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. I go to church every Sunday to partake of the sacrament and to attend class. I also go to youth. The two necklaces are for youth and the members of our church. The Book Of Mormon is another testament on Jesus Christ and we read that in our church.

Value 3 – Nationality/Heritage. My nationality is Tongan (I’m also part American, Fijian, and Tuvaluan). I was born in Hawaii and I am currently raised here in New Zealand. I am proud of my culture and I want to continue to speak my Tongan language – fluently.

Value 4 – Education. I care about my education and value it. I go to school everyday because education is important and everyone needs it. I believe that my education will get me where I want to be in the future.

Lastly I drew myself in the middle. I also love and value myself.
