Hello blog viewers/welcome to my blog! This is one of my literacy task for this week. We had to read two articles from Kiwi Kids News and write a four sentence summary about each article we read. 1. Car manufacturer BMW has created world-first technology that changes the colour of a car with the press of a button. The new car was displayed for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. The technology works by bringing different pigments to the outside when energised by electrical signals. These signals are controlled by a button in the vehicle or on a phone app. The car changes shades, designs, and colours giving different patterns in black, white, and grey combinations.

2. The government is calling to New Zealanders in Ukraine to leave immediately, heightened military tension in the area, foreign Minister Nanaia Mahuta made the announcement last week. The New Zealand Government is advising New Zealanders in Ukraine to leave immediately while there are flights able to get them home,” Mahuta said in a statement. New Zealand’s government’s ability to help people in Ukraine is very limited. New Zealand’s advice has also been followed by Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
