2022 Term 2 Highlights!

Term 2 has been another crazy and awesome term! We’ve had sports, camp, fun activities, celebrations and much more. I’d like to thank everyone (teachers, parents, staff, and basically everyone) for helping out this term and making this term another successful term. I will share my highlights.

We have started netball at the start of the term. My team is the PES Warriors. We have been improving (which we are proud of) and are excited for our upcoming games. My tech classes have been very fun and educational. I’ve had CTRL in term one and cooking in term 2. I loved making lots of healthy delicious food. We’ve had our amazing Year 8 Leadership Camp which was such a good experience and so much fun. We’ve had our Matariki celebration and celebrated my lovely teacher Miss Hall’s time at PES. She will be on her new journey so have fun and good luck! Thank you!

I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Sub-Topic Movie Brain Storm – Myths & Legends

This term for extension we learnt and researched about Local/Tamaki history. After we learnt heaps about it we moved onto a different topic. We chose myths and legends because there are some certain myths and legends about these iconic areas in Tamaki. I worked with Eva and Legacy. I learnt quite a lot about myths and legends. I found it fun and interesting. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Story Animation

This was my writing activity for the week. We had to make an animation on slides and I’ve made a few before. This animation was about a unicorn, beach, and cast a spell. It was fun and interesting to do. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

DLO – Term 2 Sphero Animation

This is my DLO project/animation for this term, term two. This term’s theme was “We Know The Way” and this is what my animation is about. This term we also learnt a lot about spheroo. I animated my sphero going across three different territories. This was quite a challenge to do but I’m glad I finished it. I hope you have enjoyed my animation and this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.

Maths Jeopardy (maths revision T1/T2)

Today we did a maths jeopardy. It’s where you select 100, 200, 300, 400, or 500 (and that will be how many points you earn). Those points are all in a certain column and each column is about a maths topic. I made my own and they are maths revisions from term one and term two (we learnt so much more). I hope you have enjoyed this post. Please leave a positive comment on my blog.
